Acting Company of Greenwich

About Us

The Acting Company of Greenwich, founded in 1990, is now in its 19th successful season of bringing quality theater to our community.

High standards and accessibility have always been our top priorities. Our artistic mission is to present classics, lesser-known works by great playwrights, rarely seen one-acts, and the occasional thought-provoking or delightful gem!

Our 2009-2010 season:
  • Jan 26 & 27 AUDITIONS for the musical "I LOVE BECAUSE" Auditions

  • FREE Adult IMPROV CLASS
    held at The Greenwich Library

    Thursday, January 7, 2010
    6:45 pm - 8:45 pm

Need a good laugh? Improv is the perfect way to forget the stresses of the day!
Improvisation is acting with no scripts, it is like the TV show "Who's Line is it Anyway?" There is no preparation or previous experience required. Improv is great for relaxing and thinking on your feet. This class is perfect for beginners or experienced improvers.

Class starts with group warm-up exercises and moves into "scenes" - everything is explained and there is no pressure to perform. You can come to one class or both and you will definitely enjoy yourself and laugh!

Sponsored by the Acting Company of Greenwich, the classes will be taught by the improv team - World Class Indifference.

Location: The Greenwich Library, Meeting Room on 2nd Floor, 101 West Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, CT.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. Make a donation
